This book is the story of Cleo, one of Dublin's oldest clothing businesses, and its achievement over 80 years of maintaining a link between those who seek out the handmade and those who make it. Illustrated with a wide range of images from order books, brochures, period magazines and photographs, it surveys what continues to be a (little recognised) coontribution to traditional culture in Ireland, as well as a timely example for the present of production and business practices built around a vision of the homegrown, human scaled and sustainable.
